There are a few different fluoro lights on the market, namely the Versa-Lite being the ‘one of choice’. We borrowed a Versa light for our 2003 Cape York trip and was hooked ever since. I was in one of the ARB stores and saw one sitting there, and impulse kicked in and I departed with it in my hand less a few dollars in my wallet.These lights put out an amazing amount of light. They come with a generous length of cable and can be powered from a standard Cigarette lighter (or Power Outlet in the politically correct world) or directly from a Battery or power pack using the supplied alligator clips.The whole unit comes in a neat canvas case which keeps it out of harms way and ensures the alligator clip lead isn’t missing when you come to need it. Our light lived in the rear door pocket of our Prado and was pulled out and powered up each night when camping and hung on the rear door with its built in hook. Definitely a must for any 4wder.
