“The terrain Tamer Snatch strap Kit”

The Kit includes a heavy duty canvas carry bag, Riggers Gloves that are 100% pig skin,  2 x 3.25 ton rated bow shackles, 9m x 60mm 8,000kg Snatch Strap.  The snatch strap is Australian made and has built in wear indicators with protective sleeves and fully sewn eyes.  Being 100% Nylon its  designed with 20% stretch to aid in your or their recovery as the case may be.

The Boys and Girls at Terrain tamer have included a handy DVD that makes an ideal resource for new 4WD owners to learn how to safely use and identify their new gear before they head out.  The strap that’s in this kit was one of 8 recommended by 4wd action in their Massive Snatch Strap Compare. When using this kit we found it had all the right gear for all of our snatching needs on our last trip to wombat state forest we found the length just right long enough to be on solid ground but not too long to run out of track. The carry bag works well to keep everything in one place so when you need it you don’t need to pull everything out.

Just remember Don’t exceed stated load ratings do not allow strap to rub against sharp edges or twist don’t use shackles as a connector between straps and only attach strap to approved recovery points on your Rig (not vehicle tie down hooks, they won’t be there for long if you do)
