Terrain Tamer Salutes a Legend
4WD Parts brand Terrain Tamer has helped produce a new DVD titled “The Toyota Landcruiser Legend – Half a Century in Australia”. This detailed DVD celebrates the role the Landcruiser has played in Australia’s development over the last 50 years.
This vehicle, more than any other, has played a key function in the many developments we have made as a nation. From the Landcruisers’ introduction to Australia during the Snowy Mountain Scheme in the 1950s, its’ proven strength in the mining industry and its reliability which allowed Australia’s rural communities to work and travel vast distances to the development of passionate Landcruiser Clubs across the country.
This DVD has original footage of the Snowy Mountain Scheme, interviews with many passionate Landcruiser Club members and images of the classic 40 series production line in Japan in the 1950’s.
It is both interesting and fascinating to watch the vehicle and its’ development through time to become part of the Australian landscape.
