The Opposite Lock 4WD Challenge is happening on 1st – 2nd of May 2010
The event is being held only 30 minutes from Melbourne and approximately 10 minutes from the Melbourne Airport this
The event is a combination of the Vic Winch and the Chick Winch and is a group B event with 3 classes:
- Challenge
- Production
- Chick
The basis for an event like this is to give the up and coming competitors the forum in which to compete with people of similar experience. Competitors who have won an event or continually get in the top 3 in other events are excluded from entering.
Some of the entrants have no experience and will be mentored and encouraged by some of the most experienced 4WDers in the country on driving and winching techniques. With that in mind they will find the track selection will certainly test their ability in driving, winching and very importantly communication.
Times: Gates open from 9am on Saturday and 9am Sunday
Cost: $20 per person, Children 17 and under get free entry.
