2008 Melbourne 4×4 Show

The Melbourne and Brisbane shows are now even BIGGER and BETTER!” was what the website for this years National expo stated and they certainly lived up the expectations. The National 4×4 show ran in Melbourne 23rd – 26th of October at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and with over 200 exhibitors from across Australia present there was a lot to be seen. This was the first outing for the Offroader Team since it reformed in early October 2008 and it was a great chance for the guys and girls to checkout what some of the suppliers have been up to lately and also to make some new contacts. We took note of a number of new and interesting 4wd accessories that have recently come onto the market. One of these was the new X-Trax from Bushranger which they recently released as a rival product to the max traxs product. We hope to be reviewing this and a number of other new and exciting products in the near future so keep an eye on the site. As usual the organisers of the National 4×4 show put on some great displays:

As always the show was a great place to check out all of the latest gear and get some tips and tricks, all of the exhibitors we spoke too were really friendly and happy to have a chat about their products. The show also caters for families by providing a number of activities to keep the kids entertained in the Kids adventure zone. So keep your eyes and ears open over the coming months as we will be bringing you a bunch of new reviews and on some of the great accessories that we saw at this years show and for now check out some of the photos below from our visit to the expo.
