Victorian High Country Huts – Craig’s Hut
Craigs hut was originally built for the set of the movie Man from Snowy River, and was little more than 2 walls. Eventually it was rebuilt as a full hut in 1992-93. Camping in and around the hut is prohibited. Unfortunately the hut burnt down in December 2006 in the large Bushfires.
Victorian High Country Huts – Upper Jamieson Hut
Located in a Valley next to a tranquil river, the Upper Jamieson hut can make an excellent overnight destination. Whether camping in the hut or around, there is a large grassed area suitable for a large number or a big group.
